Our Business Lines

Product Development

Primarily responsible for all phases of clinical research and outcomes research consulting.

  • Quintiles Central Laboratory and Phase I 
  • Quintiles Clinical Development Services, including Phase II and IIIa trials aimed at regulatory submission and product registration 
  • Quintiles Strategic Research Services, specializing in the design and delivery of scientifically valid non-registration research and consulting services, including Phase IIIb and IV trials, that help customers prove the value of their products to patients, physicians, payers and regulators

Commercialization

Primarily responsible for sales force deployment and strategic marketing services.

  • Quintiles Medical Communications and Consulting (QMCC), which focuses on strategies and services that bridge Product Development and Commercialization. Includes strategic medical communication and regulatory and healthcare consulting.
  • Innovex sales and marketing solutions, which include primary care sales, specialty sales, health management services, sales representative recruitment and training, and vacancy management.

Partnering Solutions

Primarily responsible for creating non-traditional alliances.

  • NovaQuest helps customers obtain Quintiles’ Product Development and Commercialization services. A NovaQuest-facilitated alliance typically allows a company to pay for Quintiles’ services through royalties or commissions on sale of products, or through some payment method other than traditional fee for service.

Further differentiating Quintiles’ service delivery is its access to unique patient-level healthcare information and data products from Verispan, L.L.C., a joint venture co-founded by Quintiles and McKesson Corporation.
