For 25 years, Quintiles employees have volunteered their time and resources to numerous and diverse community outreach programs, helping make a positive difference. As our company has grown, so has the scope of potential opportunities and the number of requests for our assistance.

Focusing Our Resources

Much as we select certain markets and businesses to focus upon as a company, a key objective of Quintiles Cares is to help us determine the key areas in which we should focus our community outreach. After looking at our values, our organization and our business focus, we have decided to concentrate our corporate philanthropic efforts on three areas:

• Health & Fitness
• Education in Life Sciences & Biostatistics
• Women in Science

Obviously, there is a wide array of organizations and activities that fit into these focus areas. Still, these three broad categories act as our guide in choosing which organizations, events and ideals we will support.

Support Requests for Quintiles Cares

To respond to the large number of requests for assistance we receive, we have created a special website – QuintilesCares.com. Organizations can go to the site to request support from Quintiles, using a standard form.  This helps us evaluate and prioritize submissions and determine how to allocate our support. While there are many worthy causes, Quintiles has chosen to focus our community and philanthropic activities in the three core interest groups listed above. We are most interested in supporting programs, initiatives or organizations that have a measurable, positive impact in those areas.
